That was Intersolar 2024

Calculating, planning, writing, measuring, designing, organising and communicating: Weeks in advance, many departments are working towards the highlight of the year – Intersolar. The 2024 trade fair is now a good month behind us and it was another exciting few days in Munich. As always, we have summarised the highlights of the fair in a review.

The Intersolar in figures

The official figures speak for themselves. With two additional halls, 3048 exhibiting companies and more than 110,000 visitors, all previous records were broken again. And there were hardly any free seats on our 450 m² stand over the three days – an absolute wow experience with lots of impressions.

The highlight of our stand – IBC HomeOne

Even though only available in Germany at this time – by the end of the trade fair at the latest, the majority should have heard of IBC HomeOne. Our complete PV system was the hero product on our stand and was a real eye-catcher. In addition to the hardware, the services and the digital lead path were also on display. Because IBC HomeOne is much more than just quickly assembled PV components. With this product, we are focussing on quality and durability, on partnership and safety.

In the end, our IBC HomeOne house was always well attended – from press talks to product presentations, everything was there. And pv Europe also stopped by as part of the pv Guided Tour. You can see the video here: IBC SOLAR: All necessary components from one source

Awarding stand design

We already had a reason to celebrate before the trade fair began. This year, IBC SOLAR was honoured with the “Sustainable Exhibitor Award” in gold by STEP, an initiative of the market research company EuPD Research, for its stand design based on the Cradle to Cradle principle. STEP is actively committed to climate-neutral and waste-free trade fairs and congresses. We were very honored  to receive the award on the Wednesday of the trade fair and are very proud of this.

In addition to the sustainability aspect, our exhibition stand not only had a large area with seating but also a clear division into the various market segments Home – Business – Solar Park. Both our own brand and the current products of our partners were looked at in detail by visitors.

Our conclusion

We are still very excited about the impressions and great conversations with our specialist partners and all other interested parties on site. We would like to thank everyone who visited us at our stand and look forward to welcoming you again next year from 7 to 9 May 2025 in the Munich exhibition halls. Of course, we will be reporting here on the blog again in the run-up to the event.
