Like many other young people, I decided to opt for an apprenticeship after finishing school. After a successful application process, I started my apprenticeship as an industrial clerk in September 2019 at IBC SOLAR. A few months have passed since thenand I have settled in well in my first training department“Projects Germany”. This department is responsible for the development and implementation of large-scale photovoltaic and solar projects. On Sunday, the 23.06.2019 the day had arrived. At 04h00 in the morning 14 students of the State Vocational School Lichtenfels and myself started the upcoming adventure at Nuremberg Airport for the next two weeks: A foreign internship in Plymouth. The young generation lead the way and are sending out a statement – they are committed to climate protection and want to prevent climate change and its effects. But also within the rest of the population, the green movement is growing and people are willing to make a step towards renewable energy, like using photovoltaic. This also makes the media listen up.

September not only gradually introduces the start of autumn. It is also the time when numerous young women and men from upper Franconia start their apprenticeship. This applies to Jennifer Will, Nils Lieber and David Meindlschmidt. Since the 2nd of September, the three are now part of the IBC SOLAR family and start their apprenticeship as industrial managers.
