This year’s Intersolar Europe 2025 in Munich was once again a great success. Over 2,700 exhibitors showcased their innovations to an international audience of around 107,000 industry professionals. Once more, Intersolar reaffirmed its position as the leading trade fair for the solar industry. With the three days behind us, we’re excited to share a brief recap of the event with you. Here are our highlights:
New mounting solutions in the spotlight: Premiere of IBC WallFix and further development of the AeroFix system

At this year’s Intersolar, our clear focus was on our innovative mounting solutions. In addition to our established systems for flat and pitched roofs, we introduced a brand-new product: IBC WallFix – our first solution for facade installation. The system stands out with its high flexibility and can be mounted easily, quickly, and securely to 34 different types of surfaces, including insulation materials like concrete or brick, using a distance screw. Thanks to its smart insertion system, it not only performs excellently but also features a clean and aesthetic design.
We also presented our enhanced IBC AeroFix system for flat roofs. With newly added support elements, it is now even more adaptable: Module clamps can be mounted on both the short and long sides of a module, allowing for installation of modules up to 3 m² in size – using just two base rails. Included features: the integrated IBC AeroFix Latch fall protection system and a pre-installed lightning protection system – for maximum rooftop safety.
Solar carports now available at IBC SOLAR
Across Germany, large parking areas offer excellent opportunities for installing PV systems. Solar carports not only provide protection from the elements but also serve as powerful sources of clean energy. Starting now, IBC SOLAR offers custom carport solutions, perfectly tailored to customer needs. We also offer full support throughout the entire process – from selecting the right system to installation. Turn your parking space into a real eye-catcher.
Top quality: Our “Made in Germany” solar module
A true highlight at our booth was our new “Made in Germany” solar module – a product that represents maximum quality and reliable performance. Developed and manufactured in Germany, it combines technological innovation with sustainability – which drew considerable interest at our booth. Another major advantage: this high-performance glass-glass module features innovative 2D matrix cell interconnection, which can increase energy yield by up to 70% in partial shading conditions. The result: more stable overall output, even in challenging lighting situations. A genuine benefit for anyone looking for durable and efficient PV solutions.
Sustainable booth design

Unfortunately, trade fairs still generate enormous amounts of waste. For the past four years, we’ve been making a strong statement against this with our Cradle-to-Cradle booth concept, achieving 98% recyclability. This means all materials used can either be reused or fully returned to biological or technical cycles. For instance, we use screwed timber from sustainable forestry – entirely glue-free for easy separation by material type. Our goal: not just a sustainable eye-catcher at the fair, but also a call for more circular economy practices throughout the industry.
Our conclusion
We’re still thrilled by the many exciting encounters and the in-depth exchanges with industry colleagues, partners, and all the interested visitors who stopped by our booth. Intersolar remains the highlight of the year for us!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited us at the fair. We’re already looking forward to welcoming you again next year – from June 23 to 25, 2026 – at the exhibition halls in Munich. And of course, we’ll be back here on our blog with updates beforehand!
