IBC SOLAR at Intersolar Europe 2024

June is approaching and Intersolar 2024 is just around the corner – the most important industry gathering of the year. We will, of course present our new products and services. The highlight of this year’s trade fair appearance is the presentation of our first in-house complete PV system IBC HomeOne, including all associated digital features and services. In addition to our network of specialist partners, we are once again placing a special focus on sustainability with an exhibition stand based on the Cradle to Cradle design principle in Hall A4, Stand A4.470 and A4.570. Self-driving shuttle buses: Sustainable through PV

Today we are reporting on a great project in which we at IBC SOLAR were able to participate. It’s about self-driving shuttle buses that are used on a test track in the downtown area of Bad Staffelstein, our company headquarters, and transport citizens and visitors in a climate-neutral way from the health ressort and the thermal baths to the city center. An exciting year for IBC SOLAR

We already announced it in our 2023 annual review: 2024 will be an exciting year for the PV industry and especially for us at IBC SOLAR. At the turn of the year, there was a major change at the top of our company, as Udo Möhrstedt, founder and CEO, has withdrawn from the executive board and has moved to the supervisory board. Power optimisers for PV systems – what’s behind them?

Optimisers for PV systems are small devices that are installed on the back of photovoltaic modules. Their main function is to monitor each module and maximise capacity independently of the other modules. This is important if the PV system is regularly shaded.
