Summer School at IBC SOLAR: Our training day for students

Hands-on experience instead of dry theory – 20 students from Ansbach University of Applied Sciences and its partner universities from Kosovo, Ukraine and Nigeria  spent the final day of their summer school with us in Bad Staffelstein. Using the training area of our Competence Center, we invited them to “Do it yourselves!”. And the students made use of that motto extensively.

Mounting an IBC AeroFix and installing roof hooks with screwdriver and drill. These were only two tasks of the day that marked the final of a one-week summer school with intensively training on PV technology.

The students came to us with considerable previous knowledge. During summer school, they have been trained to perform measurements of UI characteristics and error analysis with IR thermography or design PV systems with variations on economy and self-consumption quotes.

We were very happy to welcome the students! Maybe we will see one or the other again in the future.

One way to work with us is an internship in project realisation. Students of electrical engineering, energy or environmental technology can gather hands-on experience in the planning and implementation of PV projects.
