Stable. Safe. Smart: IBC TopFix – efficiency in every component

When building a photovoltaic system, the choice of the right mounting system determines the performance, safety, and longevity of the entire installation. With the IBC TopFix, we have developed a pitched roof system that perfectly combines stability, quality, and efficiency. Decades of experience and precise engineering go into every component: as IBC SOLAR’s first in-house mounting system, it has been continuously developed and optimized since its market launch – just like all our proprietary mounting systems. PV Mounting Systems by IBC SOLAR – stable. safe. smart.

Since the launch of our first inhouse mounting system, the IBC TopFix (originally known as Megaline), a lot has changed. Many additional systems have been added since then, so today our in-house portfolio offers the right solution for every roof. The IBC SOLAR brand still stands for well-thought-out solution concepts – secure, flexible, and durable. (more…)

We expand quality tests for solar modules in our own laboratory with a loading table

Lately we have expanded our in-house quality control laboratory with a loading table for both, mechanical-static and dynamic testing. Modules can therefore not only be subjected to a load test alone, but also in conjunction with mounting systems. As a result, our in-house quality control becomes even more closely meshed, so that our customers can rely on a permanently high system quality, which is checked independently of manufacturers. “Mounting systems” blog series part 5: What else experts should know

It is important for the solar energy system to be securely fixed to the roof of all installations – and every roof has its own specific requirements. I would like to take the opportunity with this and other blog entries on the subject of “mounting systems” to present the typical mounting options to operators and installers for the most frequent roof types and give them recommendations. Today our topic is practical tips. (mehr…)
