More efficient and sustainable homes thanks to PV

Unlike other countries, where residential self-consumption has been undergoing significant development for years, Spain was practically untouched until RD244/2019 came into force. Since then, and after a slow but continued adaptation on the part of all the agents involved, the residential market has been immersed in exponential growth since the end of 2019 to the present day. Spain has great potential and positive prospects thanks to the high availability of homes suitable for photovoltaic installations. When it doesn’t get any greener

It is becoming increasingly important for companies to make a contribution to climate protection while at the same time expanding their perception in the area of corporate social responsibility. In addition, the potential of photovoltaics is enormous, especially in the commercial sector, so that many companies throughout Europe are investing in green energy. The prerequisites are certainly given with correspondingly large roof and commercial areas. This was also the case for the Dutch company Capi. Therefore, the manufacturer of sustainable design flower pots did not hesitate for long and invested in a PV plant with a capacity of 1.69 MW. (more…)

An innovative PV project in Poland

496 photovoltaic panels, a capacity of 164 kWp and four 17-story buildings in Poznan, the capital of Wielkopolska region. These were the specifications of the latest solar project of IBC SOLAR in Poland. Together with one of our Premium Partners, a complex PV installation was installed on the roofs of four 17-story buildings of the Poznan Housing Cooperative Winogrady. Supplier profile: GoodWe – largest manufacturer of hybrid inverter

In our blog series, we regularly present profiles of IBC SOLAR’s partners. Since this year, GoodWe has also been part of the series. Founded in 2010, the company has developed to a leading expert in research and manufacture of PV inverters and energy storage solutions. Over the last ten years, GoodWe has achieved many successes and received numerous awards. The highlight so far was announced in spring 2020, when Wood Mackenzie named the company the number one  global supplier of hybrid inverters. We at IBC SOLAR have had the products of the Chinese manufacturer in our portfolio since July of this year and are very pleased to have this innovative partner at our side.  (more…)
