The solar boom has reached Sweden and Uppsala is at the top. The town is in forefront when it comes to number of PV installations. Uppsala is also the venue for Sweden’s most important solar trade fair, the Solelmässan. Of course IBC SOLAR AB was one of the exhibitors on November 27. (more…)
In the coming week we will attend three international trade fairs. From November 26 to 29 visitors will find us at the Big 5 Show in Dubai and from November 27 to 30 we will participate at Pollutec in Lyon. At both fairs we can be found in the Bavarian Pavilion. Also on November 27, the Svenska Solelmässan takes place in Uppsala, Sweden. (more…)
A walk through our test facility allows you to immerse yourself in the history of photovoltaics. Modules from many generations, some already a decade and a half old, show how technology has changed. Guest author and product manager René Schüler presents special test objects in a blog series and provides background knowledge to cell technologies and typical ageing effects. Using thermographic images, he looks into the interior of the modules in the last part of our series. (more…)
The presentation of new and improved mounting systems was one of the focus points at this year’s Intersolar Europe. On all three days of the trade fair, we were able to welcome visitor groups at our booth as part of the “PV Guided Tours” presented by the online magazine PV Europe. Storage solutions have become very important for the PV industry, and therefore have become a large part of the Intersolar Europe and it’s partner trade fair ees. In Munich, from June 20 to 22, we will showcase our storage portfolio as well as additional services. (more…)
