Every now and then we report on the versatility of photovoltaics. It is used for different purposes all over the world. In Hanoi (Vietnam), for example, green solar power has been providing solar treatment of drinking water since the beginning of the year. There, our international project division, IBC SOLAR Energy, constructed a 2.7 MWp PV system for the water treatment plant of the AquaOne Group. (more…)
496 photovoltaic panels, a capacity of 164 kWp and four 17-story buildings in Poznan, the capital of Wielkopolska region. These were the specifications of the latest solar project of IBC SOLAR in Poland. Together with one of our Premium Partners, a complex PV installation was installed on the roofs of four 17-story buildings of the Poznan Housing Cooperative Winogrady. Noise and sound barriers are available in a variety of materials and shapes: From concrete walls to metal applications to glass or wood solutions. One of the most environmentally friendly solutions was installed last year in Lichtenfels, Upper Franconia. To achieve this, the noise barrier in the new development area in Reundorf consists of a green side as well as photovoltaic modules from IBC SOLAR – it doesn’t get any greener than this. (more…)
