Both solutions use high-quality components with our long-time guarantees such as the IBC TopFix 200 mounting system and modules of our brand IBC SOLAR Line. (more…)

How Moroccan fishermen benefit from solar energy

Insecure, loud and sooty – these were the characteristics of the power supply for the fishing village Aftissat in the south of Morocco until about 2 years ago. Now the situation has changed fundamentally thanks to a modernisation campaign by the Moroccan fisheries authority (ONP). Our Moroccan specialist partner SEWT sarl has tackled the problem and developed a photovoltaic-based energy supply for the village. The new solar hybrid system not only provides fishermen with electricity around the clock, but is also environmentally friendly and contributes to the country’s ambitious climate protection targets. Solar system with battery storage makes Béthel education centre in Chad less dependent on diesel

Having access to electricity around the clock was certainly not taken for granted at Centre Béthel, a Catholic education centre in Chad. Its supply of energy, and therefore also of water, was dependent on diesel generators, which could only operate a few hours a day because of the high costs involved. A fundraising campaign has made it possible to install a new photovoltaic system with battery storage. The equipment now supplies solar-generated electricity around the clock and has also enormously increased the education centre’s financial flexibility. (more…)
