Blog series: PV at IBC SOLAR, Part III: Wallboxes, charging columns and electric cars

Also in the new year, there is a lot going on around and at IBC SOLAR. In this regard we are also continuing our blog series about our IBC SOLAR home system. While part 1 dealt with a rough overview of the entire system, the second part focused specifically on the installed storage system. We already reported that, especially with regard to our storage cluster, the constantly growing electric fleet of IBC SOLAR is a big factor. And that’s why today’s Part 3 will focus on the topic of e-mobility, wallboxes and charging columns. Full power with PV

E-mobility is the future. Latest figures clearly confirm this trend. The number of newly registered electric vehicles is increasing from year to year. In order to make this concept work, however, a good charging infrastructure is required in addition to the e-vehicles. The Dresen car dealership from Korschenbroich in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany also wanted to make this accessible to its customers and employees, but the corresponding network connection capacity was lacking. The solution resulted in a comprehensive and individual overall PV system. (more…)
