Blog series: PV at IBC SOLAR, Part III: Wallboxes, charging columns and electric cars

Also in the new year, there is a lot going on around and at IBC SOLAR. In this regard we are also continuing our blog series about our IBC SOLAR home system. While part 1 dealt with a rough overview of the entire system, the second part focused specifically on the installed storage system. We already reported that, especially with regard to our storage cluster, the constantly growing electric fleet of IBC SOLAR is a big factor. And that’s why today’s Part 3 will focus on the topic of e-mobility, wallboxes and charging columns. Charging EVs with the power of the sun: IBC SOLAR and EVBox announce partnership

“EVs will only produce less emissions if they are being powered by clean energy, such as solar-generated power,” says Udo Möhrstedt, Founder and CEO of IBC SOLAR, who is convinced of this. “When the eMobility market takes off in 2018, photovoltaics, EVs, and charging infrastructure will have to be part of the same discussion.” (more…)
