Three new apprentices at IBC SOLAR

September not only gradually introduces  the start of autumn. It is also the time when numerous young women and men from upper Franconia  start their apprenticeship. This applies to Jennifer Will, Nils Lieber and David Meindlschmidt. Since the 2nd of September, the three are now part of the IBC SOLAR family and start their apprenticeship as industrial managers. In this respect, the trio represents the fourteenth generation of apprentices at IBC SOLAR. (more…)

IBC SOLAR welcomes Scouts

Treating humans and nature with respect is the ultimate rule for Scouts. It therefore makes sense that they would also want to find out more about photovoltaics and spend a day with a leading industry expert. A young group of scouts based in upper and middle Franconia, Germany grabbed this opportunity with both hands. As part of their theme day “climate”, the young adults visited our competence center in Bad Staffelstein. In addition to an insight into the company’s history, the main focus was of course on solar energy.  What shouldn’t be missing in all this theory? Putting it into practice of course!(more…)

We expand quality tests for solar modules in our own laboratory with a loading table

Lately we have expanded our in-house quality control laboratory with a loading table for both, mechanical-static and dynamic testing. Modules can therefore not only be subjected to a load test alone, but also in conjunction with mounting systems. As a result, our in-house quality control becomes even more closely meshed, so that our customers can rely on a permanently high system quality, which is checked independently of manufacturers.
