IBC SOLAR joined the SolarPower Europe association in the beginning of January this year. The European-wide association is managed by its members and represents almost 40 countries. In this way, SolarPower Europe networks a large number of companies, organizations and industry in the renewable energy sector. The young generation lead the way and are sending out a statement – they are committed to climate protection and want to prevent climate change and its effects. But also within the rest of the population, the green movement is growing and people are willing to make a step towards renewable energy, like using photovoltaic. This also makes the media listen up.
IBC SOLAR founder and CEO Udo Möhrstedt visited ZDF presenter Ralph Szepanski in Frankfurt and answered questions on the TV programme “The Business Debate” (welt.de) regarding “Using photovoltaics in a clean future”. Treating humans and nature with respect is the ultimate rule for Scouts. It therefore makes sense that they would also want to find out more about photovoltaics and spend a day with a leading industry expert. A young group of scouts based in upper and middle Franconia, Germany grabbed this opportunity with both hands. As part of their theme day “climate”, the young adults visited our competence center in Bad Staffelstein. In addition to an insight into the company’s history, the main focus was of course on solar energy. What shouldn’t be missing in all this theory? Putting it into practice of course!(more…)
