Uppsala is Sweden’s solar stronghold

The solar boom has reached Sweden and Uppsala is at the top. The town is in forefront when it comes to number of PV installations. Uppsala is also the venue for Sweden’s most important solar trade fair, the Solelmässan. Of course IBC SOLAR AB was one of the exhibitors on November 27. (more…)

Visit to the IBC SOLAR test facility III: Performance measurement

A walk through our test facility allows you to immerse yourself in the history of photovoltaics. Modules from many generations, some already a decade and a half old, show how technology has changed. Guest author and product manager René Schüler presents special test objects in a blog series and provides background knowledge to cell technologies and typical ageing effects.
